Class D - Sprite

Home Town : Faringdon

How long competing:  Started hill-climbing in 2005; racing since 2009; all in the notorious ‘Friesian Racing’ Arkley.

Favourite Circuit: Probably a toss-up between Cadwell and Oulton thus far.  Keen to sample Spa one day to see what all the fuss is about

Favourite Spectator Sport:  Football - either live or televised; Swindon Town season ticket holder since 1997

Present Road car: Vauxhall Murcielago diesel, Fiat Coupé 20V Turbo, Mk IV Sprite, Mk I Sprite

Favourite Tipple: Milk of course: usually in the form of a chocolate milkshake.  Alas, I am what you might call ‘quasi-teetotal’ (but not averse to the occasional glass of wine).

Favourite food:  Indian

Proper job: ex milkman, now administrator for manufacturer of ‘sleep therapy’ devices.

General: Huge debt of gratitude to Dad (Allan a.k.a. Buster Bloodvessel) for maintenance, guidance, inspiration and general Healey-philia.  As a wee boy, watched Dad start circuit racing in late 80’s - these days, still derive as much pleasure from watching Baby Bro’ (Drew) competing, albeit on those sadly all too rare occasions when the car behaves! Still try to keep my hand in the Healey sprint & hill-climb series.
